Safety first: Disconnect power.

Basic checks:

• Try operating the unit after a full power cycle (unplug for 5 minutes, then reconnect).
• If the issue started after cleaning, allow the panel to dry for 24 hours.

Internal checks:

• Remove the control panel and reseat the keypad ribbon cable.
• Inspect for corrosion or residue on the connector; clean with contact cleaner.
• If specific buttons never work or trigger other functions, replace the keypad/touch panel assembly.
