How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Ensure good ventilation when performing a burn-in cycle.

Preparation:

  • Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and plastic films from inside and outside the unit.
  • Wash the basket, drawer, and any racks with warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly.

Burn-in cycle:

  • Run the air fryer empty at 400°F (or highest setting) for 15–20 minutes, then allow it to cool. Repeat once if odor persists.
  • If the smell is extremely strong or accompanied by visible smoke from areas other than the heater, unplug and inspect for melted plastic or wiring damage.
