• Sensor inspection: Access the cavity sensor and ensure it is firmly attached and not touching the heater.
• Sensor test (experienced users): Measure the NTC resistance at room temperature and compare to specifications. A very low resistance may cause the board to overdrive the heater.
• Relay check: On the main board, inspect the heater relay. If the heater remains on even when the unit is off or paused, the relay contacts may be welded closed.

Corrective actions:

• Replace the NTC sensor if readings are out of range or it is damaged.
• Replace the main control board if the heater relay is stuck or the control logic is faulty.
