Display shows P1 and the unit does not respond to temperature or time adjustments.

Safety first: Unplug the air fryer before removing the control panel.

Basic checks:

• Clean the touch surface: Wipe the control panel with a dry, lint-free cloth. Ensure there is no moisture, oil, or cleaning fluid residue.
• Power reset: Unplug for 5 minutes, then plug back in to reset the touch controller.

Internal inspection:

• Remove the front bezel to access the touch panel PCB and its ribbon cable.
• Ensure the ribbon cable is fully seated and not damaged.
• Inspect the PCB for cracks or signs of liquid ingress.

Corrective actions:

• Replace the touch panel PCB if specific buttons or the entire panel remain unresponsive.
• If a new panel does not resolve P1, the main control board may not be recognizing touch inputs and should be replaced.
