How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate power before removing the front panel.
- Power cycle: Turn off the boiler at the fused spur for 60 seconds, then turn back on to reset the electronics.
- Check for lock function: Some Alpha models have a child lock or keypad lock. Refer to the manual to unlock the controls.
- Inspect ribbon cable (qualified person): Remove the front panel and ensure the ribbon cable between the display and main PCB is firmly seated and undamaged.
- Replace control panel: If the display remains frozen or buttons do not respond, the user interface PCB may need replacement.
