How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Flue work must be carried out by a qualified engineer. Do not dismantle the flue yourself.
- Visual inspection: From outside, check that the flue terminal is level or slightly sloping away from the boiler as per Alpha instructions.
- Check for gaps: Look for visible gaps or cracks in flue joints or around the wall sleeve. Do not seal with non-approved materials.
- Report issues: If you see water staining or suspect flue leakage, stop using the boiler and contact a Gas Safe engineer immediately.
