How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate electrical power before accessing the fan assembly.
- Listen for fan: When there is a demand, check if you can hear the fan start. No sound suggests a power or motor issue.
- Visual inspection: Remove the boiler front cover (qualified person) and inspect the fan for signs of overheating, debris, or seized bearings. Spin the impeller gently by hand; it should rotate freely.
- Check wiring: Ensure the fan plug is fully seated on the PCB and that no wires are damaged or burnt.
- Clean area: Remove dust and debris around the fan and air intake to prevent obstruction.
If the fan does not run despite correct voltage, or if E08 persists, the fan assembly or PCB must be tested and replaced by a professional.
