Possible Causes

Seized circulation pump, Air-locked pump, Blocked pump impeller, Faulty pump wiring

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Isolate power and allow the system to cool. Some water spillage may occur when venting the pump.

  • Check system pressure: Ensure the pressure is around 1.0–1.5 bar. Very low pressure can cause pump cavitation.
  • Bleed air from pump (qualified person): Use the vent screw on the front of the pump to release trapped air. Place a cloth underneath to catch any water.
  • Free the pump shaft: With power off, remove the pump vent plug and gently turn the pump shaft with a screwdriver to ensure it is not seized.
  • Inspect wiring: Confirm the pump connector is secure and there are no signs of overheating or burning.

If the pump still does not run or E15 persists, the pump assembly may need replacement by a professional.
