Boiler casing vibrates or rattles loudly during operation

Safety: Isolate power before tightening any screws. Do not disturb flue joints.

• Tighten casing: Check and tighten all accessible casing screws and brackets.
• Check mounting: Ensure the boiler is securely fixed to the wall and not rocking.
• Isolate vibration: Fit anti-vibration pads or clips to pipework that is touching the casing.
• Engineer tasks: If vibration seems to come from the fan or pump, an engineer should inspect for imbalance or wear.
