Attack
Short Cycling / Control Instability
Boiler cycles on and off rapidly, with short burner run times and unstable temperatures.

Possible Causes
Oversized Attack boiler relative to system load, Incorrect parameter settings (minimum power too high), Blocked or closed radiators reducing flow, Faulty temperature sensor causing incorrect readings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Frequent cycling can reduce boiler life but is not usually an immediate hazard.
Steps:
- Open radiators: Ensure enough radiators are open to absorb the boiler’s minimum output.
- Check pump speed: Increase pump speed to improve heat distribution.
- Adjust controls: Lower the flow temperature setpoint slightly to reduce overshoot.
Technician: An installer can adjust minimum burner power and advanced parameters in the Attack control menu to reduce cycling.
