Possible Causes
Leak from Attack heat exchanger or hydraulic block, Leaking pump seals, Condensate overflow into base tray, Faulty leak detection sensor (if fitted)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power. Water inside the boiler can cause electrical hazards.
Steps:
- Inspect base tray: Remove the front cover and check the bottom of the boiler for standing water or corrosion marks.
- Identify leak source: Look around the pump, automatic air vent, heat exchanger connections, and safety valve for drips.
- Dry and protect: If a minor leak is found and you can safely tighten a union or replace a simple gasket, do so, then dry the area thoroughly.
- Check condensate: Ensure the condensate trap and hoses are not overflowing or disconnected.
Technician: Significant leaks, heat exchanger cracks, or repeated E15 require professional diagnosis and repair.
