Boiler display works but buttons or selector knobs do not respond or respond intermittently.

Safety first: Isolate power before removing the front panel or control fascia.

User-level checks:

• Try gently pressing buttons rather than hard; avoid using sharp objects.
• If the panel is damp (e.g. from a leak), switch off the boiler and allow it to dry; do not use a hairdryer or heat gun.

Technical checks (qualified personnel):

• Remove the control panel and inspect the ribbon cable and connectors; reseat firmly.
• Check for signs of corrosion or water damage on the keypad PCB.
• Replace the user interface module or keypad assembly if buttons remain unresponsive.
• Verify correct communication between the UI and main PCB.

After replacement, test all buttons and settings for correct operation.
