Boiler flue terminal outside shows signs of condensate staining or dripping on the wall

Safety: Condensate is mildly acidic. Wear gloves when handling.

• Check flue slope: The horizontal flue should slope slightly back toward the Crown boiler so condensate drains to the trap, not outside. If it slopes outward, a professional must correct the piping.
• Inspect condensate drain: Ensure the condensate trap and line are clear and draining freely.
• Termination kit: Verify the outside termination is installed per the Crown manual, with proper clearances and orientation.
• Seal wall penetration: Ensure the flue penetration is properly sealed to prevent condensate from running down the wall.
