Possible Causes
Tripped circuit breaker, Blown internal fuse on Crown control board, Faulty service switch, Loose power wiring at boiler junction box
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Before working on electrical components, turn off power at the main breaker panel.
- Check breaker: Locate the dedicated breaker for the Crown boiler and ensure it is in the ON position. Reset if tripped once; if it trips again, stop and call an electrician or technician.
- Verify service switch: Many boilers have a wall-mounted service switch nearby. Confirm it is ON.
- Inspect power connection: Remove the boiler's electrical junction box cover and verify that wire nuts are tight and no wires are burned or loose.
- Internal fuse: Some Crown controls have a replaceable fuse. With power off, inspect and replace only with the same type and rating if blown. If it blows again, a deeper fault exists.
