How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate power before removing any covers.
- Check display connections: Remove the front panel and inspect the ribbon cable or harness between the display module and main PCB. Ensure connectors are fully seated.
- Inspect cable: Look for kinks, cuts, or signs of overheating on the communication cable. Replace if damaged.
- Power cycle: Restore power and perform a full power cycle by turning the boiler off and on at the isolator. Check if E16 clears.
- Module substitution (technician): If the fault persists, substitute a known-good display module or main PCB one at a time to identify the faulty board.
