Possible Causes
Blown internal fuse, Unstable mains supply, Faulty power supply section of PCB, Loose mains terminal connections
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate the boiler at the mains isolator. Only qualified personnel should work on live electrical circuits.
- Check mains supply: Verify that the correct voltage is present at the boiler isolator and that the supply is stable.
- Inspect mains terminals: Remove the front cover and check that live, neutral, and earth connections are tight at the boiler terminal block.
- Check fuses (technician): Locate and test internal fuses on the main PCB or fuse holder. Replace only with identical rating fuses specified by CTC.
- PCB power section (technician): If fuses blow repeatedly or no low-voltage supply is present, the PCB power supply section may be faulty. Replace the main control PCB.
