Possible Causes
Shorted pump or fan, Shorted external 230V output, Damaged wiring harness, Faulty PCB driver circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate power. Do not repeatedly reset without finding the cause.
- Visual inspection: Check all visible wiring inside the CTC boiler for signs of chafing, burning, or melted insulation.
- Disconnect peripherals (technician): Disconnect non-essential loads (e.g. external pump, valves) one by one and power up to see if E22 clears, isolating the faulty component.
- Test pump and fan: Measure resistance of the pump and fan windings. Replace any component with abnormally low resistance or visible damage.
- PCB check: If all loads test OK, the PCB output stage may be damaged and require replacement.
