Possible Causes

Insufficient incoming gas supply pressure, Faulty low gas pressure switch, Clogged gas filter in Danstoker gas train, For oil: clogged oil filter or failing oil pump

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Shut off power and close the main gas or oil valve before working on the fuel train. Only qualified personnel should adjust gas pressures.

  • Verify supply pressure: Check the gas pressure gauge upstream of the Danstoker gas train. Ensure the gas supplier is delivering adequate pressure. For oil, check the suction and discharge pressure of the oil pump.
  • Inspect and clean filters: Isolate the gas train and remove the gas filter bowl. Clean or replace the filter element. For oil systems, replace the oil filter cartridge and clean strainers.
  • Check low-pressure switch: Locate the low gas pressure switch on the gas train. Confirm that its sensing line is not blocked. Gently tap the switch body to free a stuck diaphragm. Verify setpoint is correct; do not increase beyond manufacturer limits.
  • Reset and test: Restore gas/oil supply and power. Reset the boiler and observe if the burner starts without E05 returning.

If low pressure persists, contact the gas supplier or a burner technician to evaluate the supply and adjust or replace the pressure switch.
