Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate electrical power before working on the fan or air pressure switch. Beware of moving parts.
- Check fan operation: Attempt a start and listen for the combustion air fan. If it does not run, inspect the fan motor overload, fuses, and contactor in the Danstoker control panel.
- Inspect air intake: Ensure the combustion air inlet is not blocked by debris, snow, or louvers stuck closed. Clean any filters or screens.
- Verify air pressure switch: Locate the air pressure switch and its tubing. Check for cracked or blocked tubes. Gently blow through the tube to clear dust. Confirm the switch clicks when pressure is applied.
- Check belts (if fitted): For belt-driven fans, inspect the belt for wear or breakage and correct tension. Replace if damaged.
After corrections, restore power and reset the boiler. If E09 remains, a technician should test the fan motor and replace the air pressure switch if necessary.
