How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Allow boiler to cool before bleeding air. Protect surrounding area from water spills.
User checks:
- Check system pressure and top up to 1.0–1.5 bar if low.
- Bleed radiators starting from the lowest to highest points.
Engineer checks:
- Bleed the boiler’s internal automatic air vent and ensure its cap is loosened as per EHC instructions.
- Bleed the circulation pump and high points in the primary circuit.
- Check that the pump is correctly sized and set to an appropriate speed.
- Replace a faulty automatic air vent if it is leaking or not releasing air.
After removing air, reset the boiler and monitor for recurrence of E15.
