Display shows OUTDOOR SENSOR FAIL; outdoor reset function is disabled and boiler may run at higher temperatures.

Safety: Turn off power before working on control wiring.

• 1. Inspect outdoor sensor location: Find the outdoor sensor used with the Energy Kinetics Energy Manager. Ensure it is intact, not physically damaged, and not submerged in water.
• 2. Check cable run: Follow the sensor cable back to the boiler. Look for staples driven too tightly, rodent damage, or splices that may have failed.
• 3. Verify connections at control: Confirm the sensor wires are landed on the correct OUTDOOR SENSOR terminals and are tight.

The boiler will usually operate safely without outdoor reset, but efficiency may be reduced. Replace the sensor if the error remains.
