How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before opening the control panel or thermostat.
- 1. Check thermostat settings: Ensure thermostats are set to HEAT and above room temperature. Replace batteries in digital thermostats.
- 2. Inspect thermostat wiring: At the Energy Kinetics zone board or Energy Manager, verify that thermostat wires are connected to the correct zone terminals and are not shorted together.
- 3. Test zone operation: Manually jump the thermostat terminals for the affected zone at the control. If the zone starts, the thermostat or its wiring is suspect.
Persistent TSTAT ERROR may indicate a failed zone relay or control board, which should be replaced by a technician.
