How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Isolate gas and power before any work on gas components. Only Gas Safe engineers may test or replace gas valves.

  • Reset once: Try a single reset. If F61 returns immediately, internal diagnostics are required.
  • Engineer tasks:
    • Measure gas valve coil resistance.
    • Inspect wiring and connectors between gas valve and PCB.
    • Test PCB gas valve driver circuit.
    • Replace gas valve and/or PCB as indicated.
