Possible Causes

DHW flow sensor not detecting flow, Blocked cold inlet filter, 3-way diverter valve stuck in heating position, DHW plate heat exchanger blocked

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off power and close water valves before servicing DHW components.

  • Check DHW demand: Open a hot tap and watch the boiler display. If it does not indicate DHW mode, the flow sensor or wiring may be faulty.
  • Clean inlet filter: Remove and clean the cold water inlet filter screen.
  • Diverter valve: If the boiler shows DHW mode but radiators get hot instead of taps, the internal 3-way valve may be stuck and requires service.

Persistent DHW failure requires a technician to test the flow sensor, diverter valve actuator, and plate heat exchanger.
