How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before touching any electronic components.
- Inspect control connections: Remove the front panel and check all ribbon cables and harnesses between the main control board and the user interface/display board. Reseat connectors.
- Check for moisture: Look for signs of water ingress or condensation on the control boards. Address any leaks before replacing electronics.
- Power cycle: Leave power off for several minutes, then restore and see if E16 clears.
If the error returns, one of the control boards is likely defective. Replacement and configuration should be performed by an IBC-trained technician.
