Possible Causes

Sticking DHW flow turbine, Debris in cold inlet filter, Faulty flow sensor, Wiring fault to sensor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off the boiler and isolate the cold water supply before any work on water connections. Internal work must be done by a competent engineer.

User checks:

  • Check water flow: Ensure good flow at hot taps. If flow is very low, check that isolation valves under the boiler are fully open.
  • Clean tap aerators: Remove and clean any blocked tap filters that may be restricting flow.

Engineer tasks: Remove and clean the DHW inlet filter, inspect and replace the DHW flow turbine/flow sensor assembly if sticking or damaged, and check wiring back to the PCB.
