How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate power before accessing the fan and pressure components.
- Clean venturi and tubes: Remove and clean the venturi and silicone tubes connecting to the air pressure switch or sensor. Ensure they are dry and free of condensate.
- Check fan blades: Inspect the fan impeller for dirt build-up that could affect speed. Clean carefully without bending blades.
- Test pressure switch/sensor: Verify that the switch changes state or that the sensor output is within specification when the fan runs. Replace if faulty.
- PCB diagnosis: If the fan and pressure components are good but error 37 persists, the PCB may not be correctly controlling or reading fan speed and may need replacement.
- Re-test: After repair, run the boiler and confirm stable fan operation without error 37.
