How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Danger: Repeated tripping indicates a potentially serious electrical fault. Risk of electric shock or fire.
- Do not repeatedly reset: If the RCD or fuse trips when the boiler runs, do not keep resetting it.
- Turn off boiler: Isolate the boiler at the fused spur.
- Check for leaks: Look for signs of water around the boiler. If present, turn off water and call an engineer immediately.
- Engineer tasks: The engineer will insulation-test the pump, fan, and wiring, inspect the PCB for tracking, and repair or replace faulty components.
