Possible Causes
Blown fuse in fused spur, Tripped circuit breaker, Faulty main PCB, Loose power connection
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Warning: Risk of electric shock. Only check external fuses and switches. Do not open the boiler casing.
- Check fused spur: Ensure the boiler's fused spur is switched on. Replace the 3A fuse if blown, using the correct rating.
- Check consumer unit: Verify that the circuit breaker supplying the boiler has not tripped. Reset if necessary.
- Test socket: If the boiler is plugged into a socket, test the socket with another appliance.
- If still dead: The internal PCB or wiring may have failed. An engineer will need to test and replace the main PCB or repair wiring.
