Possible Causes

Faulty system pressure sensor, Stuck or failed flow switch, Blocked filter or strainer, Wiring fault to sensor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Warning: Some checks can be done by the user, but internal sensor replacement must be done by an engineer.

  • Check system pressure: Look at the pressure gauge. If below 1.0 bar, top up via the filling loop to 1.0–1.5 bar following the user manual. Then reset the boiler.
  • Bleed radiators: After topping up, bleed radiators to remove air, then re-check pressure.
  • Check for leaks: Inspect visible pipework and radiators for leaks that may be causing pressure loss.
  • If pressure is normal: If the gauge shows correct pressure but code 24 persists, the pressure sensor or flow switch may be faulty. An engineer will test and replace the system pressure sensor or flow switch as needed.
