Low Water Pressure Lockout
Boiler displays error code 29, low system pressure, boiler shuts down

Possible Causes
System pressure below minimum threshold, Leak in heating system, Faulty expansion vessel causing frequent pressure loss, Faulty pressure sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Warning: Do not over-pressurise the system. Typical cold pressure is 1.0–1.5 bar. Never exceed the red zone on the gauge.
- Check pressure gauge: If below 1.0 bar, top up using the filling loop according to the user manual until it reaches 1.0–1.5 bar.
- Bleed radiators: After topping up, bleed radiators to remove air, then re-check and adjust pressure.
- Check for leaks: Inspect radiators, valves, and visible pipework for signs of water. Also check the pressure relief valve discharge pipe outside for dripping.
- Monitor pressure: If pressure drops repeatedly, the expansion vessel may be flat or there may be a hidden leak. An engineer should test the expansion vessel charge and inspect the system.
- If pressure is normal but code persists: The pressure sensor may be faulty and will need testing and replacement by an engineer.
