How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Critical safety: Only a Gas Safe / certified technician may work on gas valves. Do not attempt DIY repairs.
Technician procedure:
- Confirm mains gas supply and inlet pressure to the boiler.
- Measure voltage at the gas valve coil(s) during ignition attempt.
- If voltage is present but no gas flow, replace the gas valve assembly with an IVT-approved part.
- If no voltage, test the PCB gas valve driver and safety interlocks (air pressure switch, overheat, etc.).
