How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate electrical power immediately if water is leaking. Risk of electric shock and damage to electronics.
User actions:
- Turn off the boiler at the fused spur.
- If safe, close the boiler flow and return isolation valves to limit water loss.
- Place a container or towels under the boiler to catch drips and protect flooring.
- Do not remove the boiler case yourself unless the user manual explicitly allows it.
Engineer actions:
- Remove the Keston boiler front cover and inspect all joints, valves, and components for signs of leakage.
- Check the pump, automatic air vent, pressure relief valve, and heat exchanger manifolds for corrosion or weeping.
- Replace any leaking components and associated seals or O-rings with Keston-approved parts.
- Refill, bleed, and pressure-test the system to confirm the leak is resolved.
