How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Isolate power immediately if water is seen inside the boiler. Risk of electric shock and PCB damage.

User checks:

  • Look under the boiler for signs of dripping or staining. Place a container to catch drips if safe to do so.
  • Turn off the boiler at the fused spur and call an engineer.

Engineer checks:

  • Remove the Keston boiler case and inspect all internal components for signs of leaks (pump, AAV, heat exchanger connections, diverter valve).
  • Repair or replace leaking components and dry the affected area thoroughly.
  • Check insulation resistance of wiring and components; replace any water-damaged PCB or harness.
  • Refill, bleed, and test the system for further leaks before returning to service.
