Possible Causes

Scaled plate heat exchanger on Klimosz combi, Faulty DHW NTC sensor, Modulation control issues, Inadequate minimum flow rate through boiler

Safety: Risk of scalding. Test water temperature carefully.

Check flow rate: Ensure the hot tap is opened sufficiently to meet the boiler’s minimum flow requirement (see Klimosz manual).
Clean or replace plate exchanger: If in a hard water area, remove and descale the plate heat exchanger or replace it.
Verify DHW sensor: Check the DHW NTC sensor for correct mounting and resistance. Replace if faulty.
Controller settings: Ensure DHW temperature setpoint is reasonable (e.g., 45–50°C) and not at extremes that cause overshoot.
