Possible Causes
Unstable mains supply, Loose power terminal connections, Internal low-voltage power supply fault on Klimosz PCB, Incorrect earthing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate the boiler from mains before opening the electrical compartment.
- Check mains connections: Verify that live, neutral, and earth wires are firmly secured at the boiler terminal block.
- Measure voltage: Use a multimeter to check mains voltage at the boiler. If significantly outside 230 V ±10%, consult an electrician.
- Inspect PCB for damage: Look for burnt components or bulging capacitors on the power supply section of the Klimosz control board.
- Eliminate external causes: Avoid sharing the boiler circuit with heavy loads (welders, compressors) that cause voltage dips.
- Board replacement: If E16 persists with stable supply, the internal power supply on the PCB may be defective and require replacement by a technician.
