How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate power at the fused spur. Do not attempt to repair the PCB at component level unless qualified.
- Check supply and fuse: Confirm the correct fuse rating at the spur and that there is a stable 230V supply.
- Inspect for water damage: Look for signs of leaks above the PCB area (e.g. from automatic air vent or pipe joints) and rectify any leaks before replacing electronics.
- Engineer actions:
- Test incoming voltage and earthing.
- Replace the Main control PCB as a complete unit.
- Fit surge protection if the installation is prone to voltage spikes.
