Possible Causes
Defective air pressure switch, Blocked pressure sensing port, Misrouted or damaged tubing, Incorrect switch calibration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before working on the air pressure switch or tubing.
- Step 1 – Inspect tubing: Verify the silicone tubes from the blower/venturi to the pressure switch are correctly connected, not kinked, and free of water. Replace any brittle or cracked tubing.
- Step 2 – Clear sensing ports: Remove the tubing and gently clear the ports on the blower and switch with a small wire or compressed air (low pressure). Do not enlarge the ports.
- Step 3 – Check switch mounting: Ensure the pressure switch is mounted upright as specified. Incorrect orientation can affect operation.
- Step 4 – Functional test: A technician can test the switch with a manometer and multimeter to confirm opening/closing pressures. Replace the switch if it does not operate within Navien specs.
If E011 persists after tubing and port cleaning, the air pressure switch or PCB likely requires professional replacement.
