Possible Causes
Blown fuse in spur or consumer unit, Faulty boiler on/off switch, Loose mains connection block, Failed main PCB power supply section
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Electrical work must comply with local regulations. Isolate the circuit before opening any covers.
Steps:
- Check the fused spur or plug supplying the boiler; replace a blown fuse with the correct rating after investigating the cause.
- Verify that the main power switch on the boiler is in the ON position.
- Inspect the mains terminal block inside the boiler for loose wires or signs of overheating; tighten connections as needed.
- If power is present at the boiler but the display remains dead, the PCB or its internal fuse may have failed and should be replaced by a technician.
