Possible Causes

Air trapped in radiators or boiler, Failing circulation pump, Blocked system filter or sludge in pipework, Incorrectly balanced heating system

Safety: Turn off power before bleeding radiators. Surfaces may be hot.

Steps:

Bleed all radiators starting from the lowest floor, then re‑pressurize the system as needed.
Check that the circulation pump is running and set to an appropriate speed.
Clean any system filters or strainers to restore flow.
Balance the system by adjusting lockshield valves so that all radiators heat evenly.
If performance remains poor, a system flush may be required to remove sludge.
