Possible Causes

Tripped circuit breaker or blown fuse, Faulty service switch, Loose power wiring at Raypak boiler, Failed internal fuse on control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Electrical work can be hazardous. Turn OFF power at the breaker before opening any electrical compartments.

Steps:

  • 1. Check breaker and switch: Verify the boiler's dedicated breaker is ON and the service disconnect switch near the boiler is ON.
  • 2. Inspect power wiring: Remove the electrical junction box cover on the boiler and confirm that line and neutral wires are securely connected.
  • 3. Check internal fuses: Some Raypak controls have internal fuses. With power OFF, visually inspect and replace blown fuses with identical type and rating.

If the boiler remains dead after these checks, the transformer or control board may have failed and should be tested by a technician.
