How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF power and allow the flue to cool.
Steps:
- Locate the flue sensor on the vent outlet or heat exchanger.
- Inspect wiring and reseat connectors.
- Ensure the sensor is properly mounted in the flue gas stream.
If E09 persists, replace the flue sensor. If the error remains with a new sensor, the control board may need replacement.
