How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Water may suddenly become hot during testing. Take care at taps and showers.
- Check boiler display: When a hot tap is opened, the boiler should show a DHW demand symbol. If not, the flow sensor may not be detecting flow.
- Test multiple taps: Confirm the issue is present at all hot outlets.
- Engineer tasks: Test and replace the DHW flow sensor, inspect and free or replace the diverter valve, clean or replace the plate heat exchanger, and verify DHW sensor operation.
