Possible Causes
Faulty outdoor temperature sensor, Broken sensor cable, Incorrect sensor wiring polarity, Faulty PCB sensor input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before working on control wiring.
- Check if outdoor sensor is fitted: If your Remeha boiler uses weather compensation, locate the external sensor on an outside wall.
- Inspect sensor and cable: Look for physical damage to the sensor housing or cable, such as cuts, crushed sections, or water ingress.
- Engineer tasks: Measure sensor resistance at ambient temperature and compare with Remeha charts, repair or replace the sensor and cable, and verify correct connection to the low-voltage terminals on the PCB.
