Possible Causes
Faulty safety thermostat, Open safety loop wiring, Faulty flue safety device (if fitted), PCB internal fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not bypass any safety devices. Isolate power before inspection.
- Check for manual reset stats: Some Remeha models have manual reset safety thermostats. An engineer can press the reset button once the cause of overheating is resolved.
- Visual inspection: Look for any obvious signs of overheating, burning, or damaged wiring around safety devices.
- Engineer tasks: Test continuity of all safety devices in the chain, locate any open-circuit component, and replace faulty thermostats or sensors. If all devices test OK, the PCB may be defective.
