Condensate Drainage Issue
Boiler condensate pipe dripping heavily or gurgling noises from condensate trap

Possible Causes
Partially blocked condensate trap, Sagging or incorrectly sloped condensate pipe, Frozen external condensate pipe, Debris in trap
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Condensate is mildly acidic; wear gloves and eye protection when handling.
Steps to check:
- Inspect the external condensate pipe for signs of freezing in cold weather; thaw gently with warm (not boiling) water if frozen.
- Ensure the condensate pipe runs with a continuous fall and is properly supported.
- With power off, remove and clean the condensate trap according to the Saunier Duval manual, rinsing out debris.
- Refit the trap, ensuring seals are correctly seated, and refill with clean water before restarting the boiler.
Warning: Do not modify the condensate discharge route without following regulations; incorrect discharge can cause damage or blockage.
