Safety first: Switch off power to the boiler. Close the cold water inlet and heating flow/return isolation valves if possible. Place a container under the boiler to catch drips.

User checks:

• Check the pressure gauge; if it is above 2.5–3.0 bar, the safety valve may be discharging. Do not repeatedly vent water; call a technician.
• Look for obvious drips from external pipe joints under the boiler.

Technician checks:

• Remove the front cover and inspect all internal joints, including the plate heat exchanger, pump unions, automatic air vent, and safety valve.
• Replace any leaking O-rings or gaskets and tighten unions to the specified torque.
• If the safety valve is discharging, test and recharge the expansion vessel and replace the valve if it does not reseal.
• Dry the boiler base and recheck for leaks under operating pressure.

Do not ignore leaks; water can damage the PCB and other electrical components.
