Possible Causes

Stuck or scaled flow sensor in hydraulic block, Faulty reed switch or Hall sensor, Wiring fault between flow sensor and PCB, Incorrect installation direction of flow sensor cartridge

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power and close isolation valves before opening the hydraulic block.

User checks:

  • Observe if E07 appears when heating is requested or when hot water is drawn.
  • Reset the boiler once. If the error persists, a technician must inspect the hydraulic components.

Technician checks:

  • Locate the flow sensor assembly on the return or inlet side of the hydraulic block.
  • Remove and inspect the turbine or paddle for debris or limescale; clean carefully and reinstall in the correct orientation.
  • Test the reed switch or Hall sensor output with a multimeter while water flow is present.
  • Replace the flow sensor cartridge or complete hydraulic block if defective.

After repair, bleed the system and verify that the boiler recognises flow correctly for both CH and DHW modes.
