Boiler displays E09, no ignition, may occur immediately after start-up or after service work.

Safety warning: Work on gas components must only be carried out by a licensed gas technician. If you smell gas, do not operate electrical switches; ventilate the area and contact emergency services.

User checks:

• Confirm that other gas appliances (e.g., stove) are working.
• Ensure the gas isolation valve under the boiler is fully open.
• Reset the boiler once. If E09 persists, stop and call a professional.

Technician checks:

• Measure inlet gas pressure at the boiler and compare with Termet specifications.
• Check electrical continuity of the gas valve coils and verify correct voltage supply from the PCB during ignition.
• Inspect the gas valve for contamination or blockage; replace the gas valve assembly if defective.
• Verify correct earthing and polarity of the electrical supply, as some Termet models require correct polarity for flame detection.

Never attempt to open or adjust the gas valve without proper training and calibrated instruments.
