Possible Causes
Defective fan speed sensor or tachometer, Blocked or restricted flue causing abnormal fan load, Faulty fan control circuit on PCB, Incorrect flue length or configuration for Termet model
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety warning: Combustion and flue issues must be handled by a qualified technician with proper test equipment.
User checks:
- Visually check the outside flue terminal for obstructions.
- Do not alter or extend the flue yourself. If E13 appears after building work, inform your installer.
Technician checks:
- Measure fan speed feedback to the main PCB and compare with specifications.
- Inspect the fan assembly for mechanical damage or dirt buildup; clean or replace as needed.
- Verify that the flue system complies with Termet installation limits (length, bends, diameter).
- Check PCB fan control output; replace the fan or PCB if faulty.
After repair, perform a combustion analysis to ensure safe operation.
